Job Title: GCSE Core Subject Tutor
Location: Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and structured lessons in GCSE Maths,English, and/or Science, focusing on essential concepts, exam preparation, and study techniques.
* Develop and implement personalised lesson plans to address each student’s unique learning needs and academic targets.
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support students in strengthening their knowledge and building exam confidence.
* Adapt teaching strategies to suit varied learning styles, including providing effective support for SEN students where needed.
* Create a positive, encouraging and motivating learning environment that inspires students to excel.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in GCSE Maths, English, and/or Science.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
* PGCE in Secondary Education and/or QTS status.
* Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
