This role is 37 hours per week - Term time only (46 weeks a year) so the salary will be pro rata'd accordingly
What your day to day might look like:
1. Deliver engaging sessions across vocational, academic, and employability programmes, with the support of experienced tutors.
2. Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.
3. Work with learners individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
4. Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among learners.
5. Achieve a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. AET)
6. Participate in internal training and CPD
7. Support activities towards assessment, attendance
8. Assess, record, and report learner progress following awarding body and centre requirements to support quality assurance processes.
9. Contribute to the continuous development of course materials and delivery methods.
10. Engage positively with learners, parents/carers, and colleagues to ensure learner success.
What We're Looking For:
11. A passionate educator or motor vehicle industry expert with experience or interest in teaching
12. Previous experience working with SEN learners is desirable, but not essential
13. Familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) and End-Point Assessment (EPA) would be a bonus but not essential
14. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make a difference
