About the Role
Milk Education is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning across all Key Stages in a primary school in Middlesbrough. This role is ideal for experienced HLTAs who can work independently, support small groups, and assist in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver learning activities under teacher guidance and independently across all Key Stages
• Support children with SEND and additional learning needs
• Lead small group and 1:1 interventions
• Assist with planning, assessment, and classroom management
• Support behaviour management and positive learning environments
• Cover lessons when required and ensure continuity of learning
• Collaborate with teachers, TAs, and school staff
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
• HLTA status or equivalent qualification
• Experience across EYFS – Y6
• Strong knowledge of SEND support and differentiation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Passion for supporting pupil progress and development
