To support this growth, we are seeking a skilled and versatile IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist. This is a challenging, hands-on role responsible for keeping our IT systems reliable, scalable, and future-ready. The successful candidate will support both head office and our franchise network, while leading large-scale IT upgrades across the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesHead Office IT Support & Systems
* Provide first- and second-line support to head office staff (Windows, Outlook, Microsoft 365, desktops/laptops, printers).
* Manage and maintain servers, storage, system security, and backups.
* Oversee network infrastructure, wiring, and cabling across head office and branches.
* Provide daily support and maintenance of Sage 200, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and integration with other systems.
* Manage IT assets, system access, and user accounts.
Franchise Network Support (85+ Locations, Rapidly Growing)
* Act as the main point of contact for franchise owners on IT issues, including POS systems, CCTV, card payment machines, printers, and internet connectivity.
* Provide both remote and on-site support as required.
* Document recurring issues and drive permanent solutions.
Infrastructure & Projects
* Plan and deliver major IT upgrade projects across all sites, including:
* POS system installation and maintenance.
* CCTV rollout and monitoring setup.
* Card machine and payment system deployment.
* BT broadband and telecoms infrastructure.
* Ensure IT systems are standardised, scalable, and future-proof as the business grows.
* Work closely with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
Website & Digital Support
* Act as the main liaison with external web developers to resolve issues with our website and online ordering platforms.
* Support integration of payment gateways, online delivery systems, and customer-facing digital platforms.
Other Duties
* Monitor system performance to minimise downtime and security risks.
* Provide guidance and training to staff and franchisees on IT best practices.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including wiring diagrams and network maps.
* Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required to support stores.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven IT support experience, ideally in QSR, retail, or hospitality with multi-site operations.
* Strong knowledge of servers, networking, cabling/wiring, and IT infrastructure.
* Hands-on experience with Sage 200 (system administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, integrations).
* Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and general hardware/software troubleshooting.
* Practical experience with POS systems, card machines, CCTV, and telecoms infrastructure.
* Track record of delivering multi-site IT rollouts and infrastructure projects.
* Excellent communication skills; ability to explain IT issues clearly to non-technical users.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
