4-22 Foundation is a growing Community Interest Company with ambitious plans for future expansion of its services.
Based in Tottenham, in the London Borough of Haringey, we provide continuous, integrated and long-term support to children and young people, from the ages of 4 to 22.
Our current projects include a Tuition School for primary-age pupils, an Introduction to STEM programme, Career Pathways Workshops, Employability Support and 1-2-1 Counselling and Mentoring. We have also recently created an AI-powered mental health support companion tool that works via WhatsApp, in partnership with Flank Digital and City St George's University.
We were named as UK Small Business of the Year and UK Social Enterprise of the Year at the 2023 Small Awards organized by Small Business Britain.
To help us grow we are currently seeking an experienced member of the public to join our Board. This role is equivalent to being a trustee of a charity.
We are particularly keen to recruit people who have one or more of the following skills:
* Expertise in Business Development
* Expertise in Marketing and Sales, including Digital Marketing
* A demonstrable track record in developing corporate partnerships
* Previous senior management level experience at a social enterprise or charity
Board meetings are held online every 8 weeks, on Tuesday evenings between 6.00pm and 7.30pm.The Board is responsible for setting the strategy and direction of 4-22 Foundation and supports the Programme Manager and our Project Teams. This is a volunteer role. All expenses will be reimbursed.
