Overview
Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Spinal Rehabilitation to help develop and support existing spinal rehabilitation services within the purpose‑built Centre for Specialist Spinal and Neuro Rehabilitation at the University Hospital Llandough.
The role is for 12 months and is full‑time but flexible working arrangements may be considered.
Responsibilities
* Provide medical support to inpatients on Ward West 8.
* Run weekly outpatient clinics.
* Support the newly‑established Spinal Outreach MDT.
* Contribute to the care of adult patients from across South and Mid Wales.
Qualifications
* At least two years of postgraduate training in spinal rehabilitation.
* Preferably on the Specialist Register or a Specialist Registrar within three months of expected receipt of CCT.
Contract & Remuneration
Full‑time Consultant contract for Wales. Basic salary: £121,264 per annum.
Application Requirements
* Provide names and contact details of referees covering at least the last three years of employment/training.
* Those currently or most recently employed as a substantive Consultant or a Locum Consultant for more than 12 months must also provide the name of their Medical Director as an additional referee.
