We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Regional HR Advisor with strong Employee Relations and case management expertise to join our People Experience team on a permanent basis, supporting 13 sites across Scotland and the North of England. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you’ll act as a trusted ER specialist and advisor to managers, providing pragmatic, commercially focused HR support while helping to build confident, capable leaders across the region. The role is a hybrid position, with approximately two days per week spent on site and travelling between locations, and the remainder of your time working remotely. A company vehicle will be provided to support regional travel. What you’ll be doing Providing expert, trusted HR advice across a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, and performance, ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and legally sound Owning ER casework end-to-end, taking a proactive approach to case management while coaching and supporting managers through complex and sensitive people issues Acting as a go-to ER specialist, building manager confidence and capability in handling people matters effectively and consistently Supporting and championing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development through to exits, with a strong focus on colleague experience and engagement Partnering closely with operational leaders across 13 sites, building strong, trust-based relationships and fostering a culture of fairness, accountability, and open communication Using ER data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement in policies, processes, and manager capability Ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies, applying a pragmatic and balanced approach that protects both the business and its people Managing HR administration accurately and efficiently, strong organisation and attention to detail are essential, particularly in a fast-paced environment without a dedicated case management system Contributing to wider HR and people initiatives, bringing insight, ideas, and a continuous improvement mindset to enhance the overall colleague experience What you’ll need to succeed Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with significant employee relations and case management responsibility Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law with hands-on experience managing ER cases end-to-end Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise at all levels Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple complex cases across a geographically dispersed region Confident using HR systems, we use Workday (HRIS), PageUp (ATS), Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint A commercial, data-driven mindset, using insight to support sound decision-making The ability to balance hands-on operational HR with a strategic, advisory approach A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across Scotland and the North (essential) Experience within logistics, distribution, or another fast-paced operational environment would be advantageous Why join us?
