Key responsibilities for the Commercial Property Lawyer role:
Reporting to the Senior Partner / Head of Department, you’ll be responsible for:
• Managing a varied caseload including commercial freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Handling landlord and tenant matters across a range of property types
• Managing commercial lease work including new leases, renewals, extensions and assignments
• Advising clients on property finance transactions, acting for both borrowers and lenders
• Ensuring all legal work is carried out in line with professional standards and compliance requirements
• Meeting financial targets including time recording, billing and credit control where required
• Working collaboratively within the wider team as a reliable fee earner
• Supporting business development through networking and relationship building
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the team and wider firm
Skills and experience
We’re looking for a Commercial Property Lawyer who has the following:
• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Property law
• Strong technical legal knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly
• A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
• A proactive attitude towards professional development and staying up to date with legal changes
