Transport Planning Coordinator
This role involves overseeing UK subcontracting and associated administration, while also managing the night planning function. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with UK subcontractors to ensure margin targets are met in line with annual KPIs.
* Collaborate with the planning team to determine outsourcing needs and ensure optimal subcontracting levels.
* Maintain relevant systems and keep management data up to date.
* Support Transport Management with timely reporting.
Key Performance Indicators
* Identify improvement opportunities guided by an understanding of market conditions, business strategy, and financial considerations.
* Plan and resource a cost-effective night schedule, regularly reviewing its effectiveness and integrating operational feedback.
* Monitor driver behaviour and adjust plans as needed.
