Job Description:
Support Worker – Young Adult
We are recruiting a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to support a young adult with cerebral palsy in their own home.
This is a one-to-one role suited to someone who is patient, caring, and committed to providing safe, respectful support.
Hours Available:
1. Morning shift: 7:15am – 8:15am
2. Afternoon/evening shift: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
3. Full day shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
(Shifts may be offered individually or combined, depending on availability.)
Key Responsibilities:
4. Providing personal care and daily living support
5. Supporting routines within the home
6. Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
7. Working in line with safeguarding and care best practices
Essential Requirements:
8. Child Safeguarding Certificate
9. Enhanced DBS check on the Child Barred List
10. Driving License with access to your own vehicle
11. A caring, trustworthy, and responsible approach
12. Ability to work independently in a home setting
13. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities
14. Care or support work experience
