Our goal is to grow a collaborative, multi-skilled team. We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team.
The role is full-time, permanent, and hybrid with 3 days per week in our London office at King's Cross.
The Role Overview
The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will become part of the management team and step into the shoes of Account Director when required. The SAM will develop and demonstrate strategic thinking and take ownership of accounts. They will refine and enhance their healthcare communications skills, driving through campaigns to successful completion.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day management and implementation of multiple campaigns
* Leading client meetings/calls, challenging and negotiating with clients when needed
* Assisting the senior team with developing objectives and strategies, managing team workloads and servicing levels and evaluating results
* Taking responsibility for the financial status of accounts and overseeing client billing
* Completing quarterly staffing projections with the senior team
* Providing strategic, creative and tactical input to documents, including pitches, proposals and presentations
* Review, give shape, coherence and direction to all written materials and generate content for different platforms
* Line management including leading and motivating your team members, providing feedback, conducting regular appraisals and ensuring performance objectives are set
* Contribute to the management and handling of issues/crisis responses as appropriate
You Will Bring:
* Previous account handling experience from healthcare advertising /PR /MedComms agency
* Up-to-date knowledge of the ABPI, PAGB codes, MHRA and other relevant international regulatory bodies
* Understanding of the NHS/ international health systems and broader health environment
* Leadership skills
