The Role
As a Patient Services Receptionist with us, you'll play a pivotal role in providing excellent patient care, performing efficient and professional receptionist duties, and providing general administrative support as required. What You'll Do
* Be the first point of contact for the centre, meeting and greeting patients, staff and visitors, ensuring a professional and efficient service
* Support with Patient Administration duties as required
* Answer telephone calls politely, promptly, and efficiently
* Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming reception
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent cover for the centre’s reception
* Undertake a range of admin duties to ensure the smooth running of the centre
What You'll Have
Experience and skills:
* Experience of looking after a busy reception area
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in a customer focused environment
* Evidence of effective staff liaison and cooperative working
* Evidence of an empathetic approach to patients and/or customers
* Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily
* Strong relationship building skills
* Experience within a diverse range of administrative roles
Qualifications And Knowledge
* Be proficient in all MS Office packages including, but not limited to, Word, Excel & Outlook
* Previously worked within the healthcare sector preferred, not essential
