Electrician
Location: Chudleigh (covering Devon, predominantly the Exeter area)
WMS Ltd is seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Electrician to join our team based in Chudleigh. This role will involve working across Devon, primarily in the Exeter area.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrician with a strong background in both domestic and commercial electrical work. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical skill across all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance, as well as excellent customer-facing abilities.
Key Responsibilities
_Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:_
Installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic and commercial electrical systems in line with all statutory and legal requirements
Planned and reactive maintenance works
Testing and inspection of your own work and that of others to ensure safe and compliant installations
Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair
Producing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Custom circuit design
Engaging professionally with clients and tenants

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential:
Full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Devon (and wider South West as required)
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
18th Edition BS 7671 qualification, including Amendment 2
2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent Level 3 qualification)
Proven competence in inspection, testing, certification, and reporting (Initial Verification and Periodic/EICR)
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
