Private Client Solicitor
Salary - Up to £70,000
Location - Potters Bar
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join and help lead our expanding department.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
* Wills
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Probate and Estate Administration
* Inheritance Tax Planning
* Trusts
* Court of Protection matters
* Property Protection and Wealth Management matters
The successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in the continued growth and marketing of the department and the firm’s services.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate
* Ideally 3 - 10 years PQE
* Proven experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters
* Strong drafting skills relating to Wills, Trusts and LPAs
* Experience dealing with Trust and Estate Administration and IHT planning
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Knowledge of relevant laws, compliance and regulations relating to Private Client work
* Full clean driving licence, as travel to clients may occasionally be required
* Ambitious and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in leadership and department growth
Working Pattern
* Full-time preferred, although 4 days may be considered depending on circumstances
* Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
* Office-based role
* Hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate
