Overview
Surveying Manager role at Bromford. You will lead a team of stock condition and specialist damp & mould surveyors to ensure our homes are safe, compliant, and fit for the future.
You will oversee the completion of 100% stock condition surveys within the required 5-year cycle, and ensure timely and effective responses to property hazards such as disrepair, condensation, damp, and mould (CD&M). You will plan, prioritise, and support your team’s workload to meet the requirements of Awaab’s Law, keeping customers’ safety and wellbeing at the heart of what we do.
Collaborate with colleagues across Asset Management, Service Delivery, and the Investment Team to ensure hazards are properly assessed and addressed, whether through emergency repairs, planned investment, or specialist contractor works. You will lead on quality assurance, audit survey outputs, support training for colleagues, and help continuously improve how we deliver for customers.

We’re looking for someone who has:
* A proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams.
* Strong technical knowledge of building regulations, building pathology, and housing compliance.
* In-depth understanding of the Decent Homes Standard, disrepair law, and HHSRS assessments.
* Experience of managing stock condition surveys, diagnosing property hazards, and working with contractors.
* Excellent communication skills, able to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, contractors, and regulators.
* A collaborative approach, building strong internal and external relationships, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for customers.
Additional requirements
* A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel regularly across our geography.
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the role and a track record of reliability.
* Ability to complete a Basic DBS check.
