This A Level Textiles maternity cover role offers the opportunity to work in a creative, collaborative environment, where you’ll inspire students through practical and contextual teaching while potentially contributing to a wider programme including Photography, Graphic Design, and 3D Design. This exciting role will include: • Delivering engaging A Level Textiles lessons, supporting students through the full creative process from concept to final outcomes • Supporting learners to develop a range of textile techniques such as surface design, construction, and fabric manipulation • Providing academic and pastoral support, helping students achieve their full potential • Contributing to the wider Art & Design curriculum where required If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you: • A degree in Textiles, Art & Design, or a related discipline • Experience teaching A Level (or equivalent) or strong subject expertise in textiles • Knowledge of a range of textile techniques and creative processes • A passion for delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching • For many of our teaching roles, we welcome applications from candidates at any stage of their career, including industry professionals with limited or no teaching experience.
