Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
As a Design Technology Teacher, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 if you have the relevant experience. Subject areas may include Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, and CAD/CAM. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering practical skills, and ensuring the safety and organization of the workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in Design Technology
Encourage creativity and hands-on learning through diverse projects
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
Manage workshop equipment, tools, and materials effectively
Collaborate with colleagues to improve and enrich curriculum delivery
Participate in wider school initiatives and responsibilities
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary school level
Strong knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum and workshop safety
A creative, hands-on teaching style
Effective classroom management skills
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
