Location: Austerfield and Scaftworth, both near Bawtry
Are you a skilled and passionate chef ready to take the next step in your career? The Mayflower at Austerfield and The King William at Scaftworth -part of the Harper Inns group-is looking for a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef looking to grow in a fast-paced, creative, and high-quality kitchen environment. Set in a beautiful location with a focus on seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients, The Mayflower and The King William offers an exciting and rewarding setting for any ambitious chef.
This role will be split between both venues.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our established standards
Taking responsibility for your section during service
Contributing creative ideas for new dishes and menu development
Managing mise en place and supporting stock control
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
Working closely with a passionate and supportive team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a confident Commis Chef ready to progress
A passion for quality food and seasonal ingredients
Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen
Attention to detail and consistency in presentation
A positive, team-oriented attitude
