We are a long established car breaker with ATF status, buying scrap cars, MOT fails etc and selling spare parts and part worn tyres to the trade and public.
Job description
We are looking for a yard worker to respond to customer enquiries both other the phone and face to face, remove car parts on request, fit and strip tyres, and other general yard duties as required such as sorting and tidying.
Would suit mechanic or someone with good practical skills and a knowledge of vehicle systems, makes and models. Good telephone manner and customer service skills essential.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 5:30
Saturdays 8:30 - 2:00 (every other Saturday on rota basis, Pay not included in salary, paid at overtime rate)
Work is generally outside in all but extreme weather.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
