Eccles Fold is a welcoming Day Centre, set in the beautiful town of Chapel-en-le-Frith. Our mission is to provide compassionate care and support to older people, whilst providing carer respite and social interaction within a vibrant and supportive community.
The Role
We are seeking caring, dedicated individuals to join our team as Relief Care Workers. You will play a vital role in supporting clients with social interaction, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being in a safe and friendly environment.
The day centre is open 7 days a week; any successful candidates would be required to work 5 in 7 which will include weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients, tailored to their individual needs.
* Support clients to participate in social activities and maintain their independence.
* Maintain accurate and timely care records.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of care are upheld.
* Working as part of a valued care team you’ll be ensuring our clients stay happy, healthy and well.
* Understanding the needs of older people, including those with dementia, is an important part of the work.
About You
* Experience in a care role is an advantage but not essential—full training will be provided.
* A kind, compassionate approach with a passion for supporting older people.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A commitment to promoting independence and dignity in care.
