The Role of National Account Manager
* Manage and develop key national distribution and wholesale accounts
* Build strong relationships with head office buyers and senior stakeholders
* Take ownership of a defined national account portfolio with full commercial responsibility
* Managing accounts at Category Manager / Senior Procurement level.
* Managing a small team of Area Sales Managers.
* Drive strategic growth across national agreements, frameworks, and supply arrangements
* Deliver joint business plans with key distribution partners
* Operate in a hybrid role with national coverage and occasional travel
Candidate Requirements – National Account Manager
* Proven experience managing national accounts within distribution, wholesale, merchant or FMCG environments
* People management experience
* Strong track record operating at senior stakeholder level with commercial accountability
* Experience managing or influencing national agreements, frameworks, or large-scale listings
* Strong commercial acumen including pricing, margin management, and contract negotiation
* Experience working cross-functionally or leading key stakeholder relationships at Category Buyer, C Level, Senior Procurement level at national level
* Strategic thinker with strong execution and delivery focus
* Ambitious, driven, and looking for long-term progression within a global business

* Up to £80,000 basic salary depending on experience
