Graduate Teaching Assistant – Durham (DH1) Secondary Schools Teaching Personnel is recruiting a graduate — or final year undergraduate — looking to take their first step into education, with placements available across secondary schools in Durham City from September 2026. If you've recently completed your degree and you're thinking about teaching, educational psychology, SEND, or any other career in education, working as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor is one of the best ways to find out if it's right for you. You'll be in the classroom from day one, working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, building the kind of practical knowledge that no postgraduate course can replicate.
