Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new opportunity in Honiton? Do you thrive in a school environment, helping children reach their full potential?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to support teaching and learning in a welcoming and inclusive school. This role offers the chance to lead lessons, provide tailored support, and contribute to a positive classroom experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting Teaching & Learning – Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
* Leading the Classroom – Deliver pre-planned lessons during PPA cover or teacher absences.
* Providing Individual Support – Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to help them progress.
* Tracking Progress – Monitor student achievements, offering encouragement and feedback.
* Creating a Positive Environment – Help manage the classroom and promote a supportive learning space.
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar role.
* Background in education or classroom support.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Confidence in leading lessons and working independently when needed.
* A passion for helping children succeed academically and emotionally.
