* Identifying the Right Hose & Fittings
* Selecting hoses based on pressure rating, temperature, fluid compatibility, and size.
* Choosing the correct fittings (JIC, BSP, NPT, ORFS, etc.).
* Making sure assemblies meet SAE, ISO, or OEM standards.
* Hose Assembly & Fabrication
* Cutting hoses to length.
* Crimping or swaging fittings.
* Testing assemblies for leaks and pressure rating compliance.
* Inventory & Depot Operations
* Stocking common hose sizes, fittings, adapters, quick couplers.
* Managing inventory (tracking stock, restocking, preventing downtime).
* Organizing a "hose kit" .
* Safety & Maintenance
* Proper disposal of old hoses and fluids.
