Salary: Circa £24,638 depending on experience, with benefits including Health Cash Plan
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Community Housing Administrator to join our housing team in the South Region. As a Community Housing Administrator, you will be the face-to-face support for our communities. If you enjoy variety, engaging with customers, and developing a career in housing, this role is ideal!
Typical Day
* Engaging with customers and proactively visiting estates to understand our communities better.
* Supporting housing managers to maintain their areas and improve local neighborhoods.
* Managing tasks such as handling empty property processes, liaising with local authorities, conducting estate inspections, and meeting with contractors.
* Carrying out safety and compliance checks in buildings and communities.
* Updating records, ordering supplies, and arranging payments for works.
Candidate Requirements
* A positive, proactive attitude, well-organized, and able to work independently.
* A passion for excellent customer service and helping others.
* Confidence in working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
* Understanding of housing management, housing law, and universal credit is desirable but not essential.
* Comfortable using technology to navigate systems and update records.
* Ability to work alone on estates, with access to a vehicle for business use (mileage paid).
