Responsibilities
:
1. Open and assess new customer accounts, ensuring accuracy andpleteness in their management.
2. Manage a diverse ledger with effective cash collection strategies.
3. Prepare internal reports, including debtor days, query analysis, and cash flow updates.
4. Calculate and review bad debt provisions.
5. Work to reduce overdue debtor balances.
6. Support sales decision-making, including deferred payment plans, advance payments, and credit line facilities.
7. Act as a key contact for managers and senior leadership regarding credit account management and queries.
8. Establish, review, and amend credit lines both internally and with customers.
9. Lead the collection process for overdue payments, including small claims or legal action where appropriate.
10. Represent thepany professionally when engaging with customers.
What We're Looking For:
11. Proven experience in credit control.
12. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
13. Ability to work effectively with customers in a high-pressure environment.
14. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
