About the Role:
You will assist with the running and progression of Conveyancing transactions, including but not limited to:
* Handling incoming calls and other communications, responding to queries promptly, with the support of others where required.
* Preparing, receiving and verifying new client care park electronically, working closely with Solicitors and Fee Earners to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Verification of identification and source of funds for all new clients.
* Completing Title Checks under the direction of a Fee Earner.
* Drafting and issuing Contract Packs.
* Obtaining redemption statements.
* Dealing with pre-contact enquiries on sale files under the direct supervision of a Fee Earner.
* Preparing pre-completion paperwork, including invoices and Statements of Accounts.
* Updating our case management system proactively to ensure all matters accurately reflect current status.
* Complete tasks assigned by Fee Earner or other team members to ensure a smooth and swift service to clients.
* Working with our third party stakeholders to develop business relationships by providing excellent customer service.
You will also undertake regular training to ensure professional development and delivery of a high standard of legal work.
About You:
* We are looking for a bright, professional, team orientated Conveyancing Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
* You will need to possess enthusiasm, a pro-active approach, the ability to adapt and learn quickly and a strong interest in property law.
* We can offer you training so while previous experience is an advantage, we would still love to hear from talented people without experience, who are looking to pursue a career in residential conveyancing.
