We are looking for Registered Nursing Associate / 2nd year trainee Nursing Associate to join our team in Acute Medicine at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital to cover maternity leave for 12 months. This includes a 20 bedded AMU and an Acute Medical Assessment (AMA). This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a fast‑paced environment with many learning opportunities. The successful applicant will work alongside registered nurses providing care for patients and develop or extend clinical knowledge by working across a range of clinical settings.
Responsibilities
* To provide holistic and person‑centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings.
* To work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working to their nationally recognised code of conduct and Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates.
* To work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
* To communicate effectively, with sensitivity and compassion, and to manage relationships with people, making reasonable adjustments where necessary.
* To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
