Sectors include Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Renewables, Transport, Construction, Aviation, Food & Drink, and Public Sector.
Due to growth, acquisition, and a new rebrand, they have a new sales focus and are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive in Aberdeen.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be:
1. Selling a range of off-the-shelf and bespoke training solutions.
2. Working with an existing client base and generating new business customers.
3. Following a structured sales plan and sales model to build a sales funnel.
4. Self-sourcing and generating new leads.
5. Liaising and negotiating with key decision-makers via phone, face-to-face, and video calls.
6. Identifying training and customer needs.
7. Helping to create, design, and issue proposals tailored to client needs to ensure results.
8. Building, nurturing, and developing account relationships with existing clients and key decision-makers.
9. Presenting solutions over the phone, face-to-face, and via video.
10. Maintaining a sales database with up-to-date information.
11. Following processes & procedures and staying current with relevant legislation.
12. Representing the company at trade shows and events.
13. Working towards quarterly and yearly targets.
The Candidate
To apply, you should have sales experience from any sector (B2B or B2C) or experience in recruitment consultancy.
You will have a proven track record of developing new business and managing existing clients.
Possess a consultative approach to solution selling.
Be passionate about developing new business opportunities.
Have negotiation skills at all levels.
Knowledge of industries such as oil and gas, renewables, food and drink, construction, aviation, and the public sector.
Ability to understand, present, and articulate information effectively to clients.
Be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive, and capable of developing long-term relationships.
Demonstrate past success and a desire to excel in your role.
