About the Role
Connex Education are working with Flying High Trust to provide a dedicated Lower KS2 Teacher for their primary school in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Year 3/4 pupils in a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across the primary curriculum for Year 3/4 pupils
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
* Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular activities and whole-school initiatives
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting processes
Person Specification
Essential:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
* Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one
