An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Haematology/Oncology Department to join the team in a reception based role. You will be part of a team of four rotating between Rabbit Outpatients and Safari Day Care and will be required to provide high quality administrative support to a team of consultants, nursing staff and the associated administrative team.
You will need to enjoy a patient facing role and have the ability to prioritise duties effectively and have excellent attention. Previous experience within a a clinical setting would be advantageous but not essential.
This is a full-time role hours a week, Monday – Friday. The shift times are on a rota with 75% of shifts being 9:00-17:00 and the remaining 25% of shifts being 7:30-15:30. The post holder will also be required to provide ward administration support across the wider BCC wards on Sunday on a rota basis. This currently equates to working 1 month of Sundays every 7 months.

You will need to be a good team player, and be happy working with a broad range of people, with different skills. You will need to demonstrate that you can act on your own initiative, and that you are committed to providing the highest possible standard of service to our patients, families and to both our internal and external colleagues.
