Dental Nurse – Gloucester We are looking for a skilled Dental Nurse to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. Affinity Dental is based on the north side of Gloucester with excellent road access to Cheltenham, Ross-on-Wye, and destinations off the M5. Established for over 18 years, the practice has built a strong local reputation and enjoys a loyal patient following. The Role We are looking for a full-time Dental Nurse (38.5 hours per week) to support our clinicians and assist patients throughout their treatment journey. Working hours: Monday: 08:00 – 17:00 Tuesday: 10:00 – 19:00 Wednesday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 Your Responsibilities Providing chairside support across a range of treatments Preparing and maintaining surgeries to the highest clinical standards Assisting patients through their treatment journey and ensuring a positive experience Supporting clinicians with procedures and treatment planning Following infection control, health, and safety protocols Decontamination and instrument processing as required Helping the practice run efficiently and smoothly What We’re Looking For A qualified Dental Nurse Implant experience is desirable but not essential Sedation qualification is ideal, with full training available for the right candidate A friendly, professional, and organised individual Excellent communication and patient care skills Someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive and dynamic team Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail Join Our Team If you enjoy working in a patient-focused, modern dental practice and take pride in delivering excellent chairside support, we would love to hear from you.
