Your new team
Join Pernod Ricard’s Global Tech Team, operating in an agile mode with a dynamic product organisation. You will work in a collaborative environment where innovation thrives and your contributions shape the trajectory of our products. You will drive efficiency, foster creativity, and support product development in an agile setup.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Data Product Owner to lead the delivery of high-impact, trusted data products for global supply chain functions. You will have end-to-end ownership of data products, from shaping product vision and roadmap to leading agile delivery and value realisation. You will partner with planning, logistics and inventory management stakeholders to translate needs into data-driven solutions. You will lead an agile squad of data experts, manage backlog and budget, coordinate delivery, and support rollout and adoption.
Your responsibilities
* Own and evolve the product vision and roadmap for supply chain data. Define purpose, scope, and long-term direction aligned with global supply chain priorities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the roadmap delivers business value and meets user needs.
* Prioritise delivery and manage the product backlog and budget. Translate priorities into actionable user stories, assess effort and impact, and maintain backlog and roadmap.
* Ensure agile ceremonies enable predictable delivery and squad alignment; manage product-level budget and financial reporting where needed.
* Drive the product roadmap and coordinate the work of the development team. Explain business needs to the team and manage risks and interdependencies.
* Lead system demos and rollout planning. Define objectives and acceptance criteria, perform fit-gap analysis, and build rollout guidelines and templates.
* Represent the voice of the business. Collaborate with planning, logistics and inventory management to translate data needs into requirements for the delivery teams.
* Ensure product quality, governance, privacy and data lineage standards are embedded in the lifecycle; monitor adoption and value delivery.
* Support the transformation to a product-led, data-driven organisation; champion data product thinking and optimise end-to-end processes.
Who you’ll be working with
Internally: Operations Data Product Manager (your Line Manager), business stakeholders across Supply Chain (Planning, Logistics, Inventory Management), Data Engineering, BI & Analytics Specialists, Data Architects and Platform Teams, Data Governance Teams, and other Product Owners.
Externally: Third-party consultants and vendors; product peers across Pernod Ricard.
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:
* Have proven experience as a Product Owner (or equivalent) with cross-functional delivery in data-rich environments, ideally involving supply chain/operations data.
* Have strong knowledge of supply chain processes and how they relate to data; can represent stakeholder needs in planning, logistics, and inventory management.
* Are comfortable managing a product backlog and shaping feature delivery with agile teams.
* Understand the data lifecycle and how business needs translate into data product features.
* Can communicate clearly across technical and business roles and influence without formal authority.
* Are a strategic thinker with a value-driven mindset for roadmaps and value monitoring.
* Have practical experience with the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt), cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake), BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and ERP data.
* Care about data quality, governance, and usable, scalable products.
* Have interest in data mesh and data product thinking with an agile mindset; comfortable working in ambiguity and moving fast.
