Your Mission
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with pupils across Key Stage 2, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. You’ll help create a positive learning environment where children feel confident, engaged, and ready to thrive.
What You'll Be Doing as a KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA)
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and staying engaged in lessons
* Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Work closely with the class teacher to adapt resources and strategies
* Monitor and report on pupil progress and participation
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Provide support during transitions, playtimes, and group activities
What You Bring to the Table
* Experience working with children in a school setting, ideally KS2
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, caring, and flexible approach to learning support
* Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
