Park Road Junior Infant and Nursery School is an ambitious, inclusive multi-cultural and caring school, which has been graded by Ofsted as "Good". The Governors, staff and pupils are seeking to appoint an outstanding Education Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of staff.
We are looking for an individual who will work with our SEN Support Team to assist in providing a caring and nurturing environment for pupils with complex needs predominantly in KS1 (see additional Context Sheet). The role will also include extended hours to cover our free breakfast club provision which is open to the whole school and run by our staff team.
We are looking for someone who:
* is enthusiastic, warm and caring and able to develop a supportive relationship with children and their families
* is able to boost children's self-esteem, resilience and aspirations
* is able to deliver programmes of support set up specifically to help the children in their care learn
* has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with professionals and parents.
