Curriculum Leader - Motor Vehicle
Salary: £44,000 + £4,000 market premium
Hours: 35 per week | Contract: Permanent, full time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a student-focused Curriculum Leader in Motor Vehicle to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking Automotive department within a well-established further education provider.
About the Role
You will lead and manage the Motor Vehicle provision, supporting a team of lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching and training. The role involves shaping the curriculum, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring students achieve strong outcomes and progression into industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of Motor Vehicle lecturers
Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, and quality assurance
Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment standards
Track student progress, achievement, and retention
Build and maintain links with employers and industry partners
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and internal procedures
About You
Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Motor Vehicle or related field
Recognised teaching qualification
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
Experience teaching or training in Motor Vehicle (FE or industry)
Experience leading, mentoring, or managing staff
