We have an exciting opportunity for an established or newly qualified teacher to join our team as a: Teacher of Physical Education (Maternity Cover) – Part Time
What we are looking for:
· A PE Teacher who is able to:
· Inspire and motivate students while sharing their passion for Physical Education and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award
· Support the wellbeing and educational needs of young people with SEN
· Have a relationships first ethos and an understanding of emotion coaching and the restorative approach
· Show sensitivity in listening to young people's situations and the ability to communicate positively and effectively to reach solutions
· Actively and proactively look ahead, predicting and preventing barriers to success
· Know, understand and contribute to the Educational Health Care Plans of each student they work with

About the role: We are seeking a passionate and inspirational PE teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach physical education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. If you are enthusiastic about promoting physical fitness and fostering a love for sports in young minds, we would love to hear from you.
Salary and Hours:
Salary: Teacher - M1-UPS plus SEN allowance £2,229
This is a part-time 4 days a week vacancy - Monday to Thursday
This post is to cover Maternity Leave and is fixed term. Start January 2026 to August 2026
