Manual Machinist (CNC BORER)

£18 - £20 P/H + Extra 20 Hours PW + 33 days holiday + £500 bonus yearly
Are you a time served CNC Machinist with proven experience on heavy kit, up to 60 pounds, confident with programming offline, using Fanuc controls, along with being experienced with Vertical and Horizontal Boring machines?
Do you want a hands on role with secure days only shift patterns with Fridays afternoon free, where you actually program, set and operate your own machine?
On offer is a role with unlimited overtime, a solid 33 days holiday with a 3% pension and £250 bonus paid twice a year, where you will finish 4:30pm all week and a 1:00pm knock off on Friday.
In this role, you will be working on horizontal and vertical CNC machines. There will be a variety of workload, as you will be manufacturing and supporting a variety or services into the Heavy Engineering industry. There is a a generous amount of overtime available, allowing you to further boost your earings.
This role would suit a CNC Machinist from a BORER background, who is competent using Fanuc controls, looking to join a role with an abundance of overtime, and training where needed.
This role:
* Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Friday early 1:00 pm finish
* Based in Ashton - under - Lyne
* Programming, setting and Operating Vertical and Horizontal Borer CNC machine's
* 12 hour days (Optional) Overtime
The person:
* Proven experience as a CNC Borer
* Fully capable with Fanuc
* Offline programming experience is a must
* Commutable to Ashton - under - Lyne
