Position: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) Location: High Wycombe Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September SENCO Role in a Secondary School A well-established secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join its leadership and inclusion team from September. This is a full-time role within a supportive and inclusive school committed to ensuring every student can thrive and achieve their full potential. About the Role As SENCO, you will lead and coordinate the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and support strategies are implemented effectively. You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to identify needs, implement targeted interventions, and monitor student progress. The role includes oversight of EHCPs, intervention planning, staff training, and promoting inclusive teaching strategies across the school. You will play a key role in supporting student wellbeing, inclusion, and access to high-quality education.
