Our client, a forward-thinking and fast-growing biotechnology company, is inviting a curious, driven and technically-minded graduate to step into an exciting entry-level opportunity as a Research Engineer. If you’re eager to apply your academic knowledge to real products used in cutting-edge biomedical innovation, this could be your perfect launchpad.
Get hands-on with robotics: Prototype hardware, test new designs, and help develop advanced fluid handling tools that support gene editing and drug discovery.
Collaborate with both engineers and biologists to explore how technology can better serve modern science.
Work closely with experts and innovators in a company that values curiosity, initiative and continuous learning.
You're ready to take what you've learned, whether from a recent degree or an academic project, and bring it to life in a practical, fast-moving setting. A degree in engineering, physics or a related technical field (2:1 or above)
Experience with research or development, whether through an industrial placement, internship or a challenging final-year project
A desire to build and test, with interest in both physical prototyping and software-based problem-solving
Robotics such as building and programming systems
C++ or Python to develop your coding and automation skills
Salary : £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
Contract : Full-time, permanent
Primarily on-site with some flexibility for remote work
