Design spaces guests remember. Shape brands guests’ trust.
We’re seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead end‑to‑end design across our portfolio of branded hotels—guest rooms, suites, lobbies, bars & restaurants, meeting & event spaces, gyms, back‑of‑house and more. You’ll translate IHG brand guidelines into inspiring, buildable concepts and play a pivotal role in brand conversions—including transformative projects—balancing creativity, cost, sustainability and operational practicality.
What you’ll do
* Lead concepts to handover for refurbishments, repositions and new openings—briefing, feasibility, concept, detailed design, site support and snagging.
* Own brand compliance: prepare submissions and navigate approvals with IHG and Accor, adapting standards intelligently to real‑world assets.
* Champion guest experience & commercial returns: design that lifts ADR, RevPAR and NPS while improving flow, durability and maintenance.
* Direct FF&E: specify finishes, furniture, lighting and artwork with the right brand expression, sustainability credentials and lead times.
* Partner brilliantly with project managers, QS, architects, contractors and hotel GMs; lead site surveys, progress reviews and design workshops.
* Guard the design intent on site—clarifications, mock‑ups, samples, defects and sign‑off.
* Keep us future‑fit: maintain brand libraries, materials palettes and supplier networks; pilot innovations that enhance guest experience and lifecycle cost.
What you’ll bring
* 5+ years in hospitality interior design with multi‑site delivery; portfolio spanning guestrooms and public areas.
* Solid working knowledge of IHG standards; Accor exposure is a strong plus—especially brand conversion projects.
* Proficiency in Autodesk programs, SketchUp, Adobe CC and MS Office; confident presenter with crisp documentation.
* Deep FF&E know‑how, supplier awareness and a practical feel for operations (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B).
* A creative eye and a commercial mindset: you can justify every line, finish and lumen.
* Full UK travel flexibility for surveys, design reviews and on‑site works.
What you’ll get
* Impact at scale across a national portfolio and leading global brands.
* Autonomy, accountability and support from a collaborative projects team.
* Professional development, supplier showcases, brand immersion and site travel.
* A culture that backs good ideas—and ships them.
