Overview
Ward 8b has 3 specialities haematology, palliative care & general medicine. Training will be provided. As a registered Nurse you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing direct patient care. Depending on which area you specialise in, you could support people with learning disabilities, provide end of life care or save lives on ward 8b. Following successful completion of preceptorship or SPN period you may take charge of an area for a span of duty.
Responsibilities
* As band 5 RN you will be responsible and accountable for assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care
* Work as a member of the multi disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks from the ward manager/charge nurse
* Following successful completion of preceptorship you will be required to take charge of an area for a span of duty
* The post holder will always work within the NMC's Code of professional conduct
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse with the NMC
* Preceptorship completion or SPN period as applicable
