Key responsibilities of a Business Development Manager?
7. To pitch and win instructions for branch lettings stock.
8. Win and list instructions to the required volumes and ensure the quality of instructions is maintained at all times.
9. Create and develop new client relationships seeking opportunities for further business.
10. To manage local client relationships and provide regular communication of progress at least twice a week ensuring the result meets the client's requirements. Allowing the lettings team to have the correctly priced stock to ensure targets are met.
11. To create and implement the required local marketing strategy, including the use of our bespoke technology to drive market share.
12. To leverage the Group Services as a pre-requisite to a new instruction demonstrating to the customer the quality and value that a "one stop shop" approach can derive to their advantage, including Estate Agency, Financial Services, Block Management to name but a few of our ancillary services.
13. Manage centralised marketing campaigns and execute to a high standard.
14. Complete pricing and marketing reports for clients.
15. Ensure processes are always legal and compliant with all business requirements.
16. A clear sales ability is needed with the skills to engage, integrate and close clients.
Although this is a responsible role, you will be expected to relish getting your hands dirty and working hard to achieve targets. Some managerial experience is an advantage but not necessary, however, a high degree of organisational skills is essential.
