Description
* Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Prepare financial statements and management reports for clients.
* Support with personal and corporate tax returns.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members to support their professional development.
* Review and finalise work completed by junior staff to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
* Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the department.
* Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services to clients.
Profile
A successful Accounts and Audit Senior should have:
* Professional qualifications in accounting (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Experience managing audit and accounting assignments within the professional services industry.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
