Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a seasoned engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in steel and reinforced concrete frame projects in Watford and Oxford! As a Senior Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and delivering diverse steel frame and RC frame schemes, contributing to the high profile schemes that define modern urban landscapes. The company are market leaders who have projects across various sectors, including industrial, education, commercial, leisure and healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Leading the engineering design process for steel and RC frame projects, from conception to completion.
Developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Conducting thorough structural analysis and assessments to optimize designs and mitigate risks.
Providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Diploma, HNC)
Extensive experience (8+ years) in engineering, with a focus on steel and RC frame projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, ACI).
