Senior Vehicle Technician vacancy in Tewkesbury

Salary: Negotiable starting salary pending experience plus bonus scheme and overtime.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm.

Our client, a franchise approved car dealership in the Tewkesbury area, area currently looking to hire a fully qualified Senior/Master Vehicle Technician for their busy Service Department.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working with a friendly workshop team, as a Senior/Master Vehicle Technician your role will include accurately and skillfully undertaking the repairs and servicing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, industry guidelines & completed to the highest standards. You will coach, mentor and provide diagnostic and technical assistance to other Vehicle Technicians to speed fault diagnosis and accurately specify repair solution. Where required you will also discuss issues directly with customers concerning any long term vehicle issues and ensure that all work is carried out in full and followed up until resolved.

You will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Tewkesbury and will need to be a qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum as well as be trained to either a senior or master technical standard. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy franchise approved dealership environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
