We have a vacancy for a payroll assistant to help run our extremely busy payroll department.
Full end to end payroll processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a varied client base of clients (mostly SME'S) using Moneysoft payroll software including:
* Administering RTI submissions
* Filing CIS returns
* Processing P45's/P46/P11d/P60's
* Dealing with starters/leavers
* Processing of pay scale & allowance uplifts, incremental rises and contractual changes as and when required
* To process all types of manual payroll calculations including both hourly paid and salaried
* To have an extensive knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments eg redundancy, SMP and SSP when running client payrolls;
* To have sound knowledge of pension schemes, including Auto Enrolment process
* Proactively develop and keep up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance;
* Liaison with clients for any payroll queries
* Dealing with HMRC
* To use own initiative to resolve issues and to assist the client where possible, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary;
