is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established waste and recycling company operating across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
This is a great chance for drivers looking for long-term, stable employment with the security of a permanent role following a successful temporary period.

🕒 Working Pattern
1. Temp-to-perm position with long-term opportunity
2. Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts available
3. Early morning start times (typically 6:00am–7:00am)
4. Full-time hours with overtime available during busy periods
💰 Pay Rates
Monday to Friday
5. £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
6. £16.25 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Overtime – After 8 Hours
7. £19.32 per hour (PAYE)
8. £21.66 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Holiday pay accrued unless PAYE Advanced selected
♻️ The Role
9. Driving a Class 2 vehicle completing waste and recycling collections
10. Working as part of a team with loaders
11. Completing scheduled routes across Edinburgh and surrounding areas
12. Ensuring safe and efficient collection of waste materials
13. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork
14. Following strict health & safety procedures at all times
15. Providing a reliable and professional service
✅ Requirements
16. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
17. Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
18. Maximum 9 penalty points
(No DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
19. Physically fit and comfortable with an active, outdoor role
20. Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
