About the Role The school is seeking a patient, enthusiastic, and creative Reception Teacher for maternity cover. You will plan and deliver EYFS lessons, support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development, and work closely with colleagues to maintain consistency and high-quality learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons Observe, assess, and record pupil progress Support children’s social and emotional wellbeing Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment Engage parents in pupils’ learning and development Contribute to enrichment activities and school events Candidate Profile: We are looking for a teacher who is nurturing, creative, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of early years pedagogy.
