We are looking for class 2 winter hgv drivers for work throughout this winter in Inverness.
🚨 This role requires a commitment for the full season (October–April) and flexibility to respond to changing weather conditions – essential for keeping Highland roads safe.
🚨 Patrol Work Pattern:
🔹 4 nights on / 4 nights off
🔹 Flexibility required for weather changes
💰 Rate: £16.43/hour
🚛 Frontline Work Pattern:
🔹 Mix of days and nights on a rota
🔹 Includes paid standby shifts
🔹 Flexibility required for weather changes
💰 Rates: range from: £13.75 -£24.75 (rate dictated by your shift / overtime)
🕒 Standby Payments (Frontline Only): can be up to £137.50 per week dependent on your stand by rota
🧊 Duties Include:
1. Gritting & ploughing roads
2. Vehicle checks & defect reporting
3. Yard duties during good weather
4. Highway maintenance & labouring
📋 Requirements:
✅ Cat C HGV Licence (Class 2)
✅ Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
✅ Under 6 penalty points
